Sunday at the Farm

Last Sunday we decided to ride out the farm and check on things. We had a great surprise - a new baby calf! The kids had a great time getting some fresh air and driving the old hay truck around. Can't wait for Spring Break!

It's Cold!!!!

If you don't live in Texas, I know it sounds like we're whining, but IT'S COLD! Trevor and Morgan got out and played in the ice a little bit this afternoon.

Our pool has an anti-freeze setting on it and it's been going crazy like this all day.

Magnolia Junior High vs. Lynn Lucas

The boys got another win last night against Lynn Lucas. They won 8-6. Kevin said there was a lot of stripping balls and running back and forth down the court, but a win is a win! Our team's star player will be out for several weeks with a broken thumb, but I'm sure the other boys will be trying hard to win for him. We were supposed to go to a tournament in Huntsville this weekend, but it looks like we won't be making the trip because of snow!

Looks Like She's Made Her List

Magnolia Junior High vs. Peet

Well, luck held out! Magnolia Junior High won against Peet Junior High 25-20 Thursday night. Trevor and Doyle said the game was great. I don't have any pictures to show because Morgan and I didn't make it since she didn't get out of Art Club until 4:45. In two weeks we travel to Lynn Lucas in Willis. I'm sure it will be a great game, too!

Trevor's First Junior High Basketball Game

Trevor started basketball last week and they had their first game against Shultz Junior High School in Waller Thursday night. It was a great game. They beat Waller in triple overtime 20-18. Would you believe Trevor was the tallest kid on the basketball court?

This is the half time pep talk!

Waller had a kid that kept hitting 3 point shots. They would come back and tie the game in the last few seconds of the game. A good friend of Trevor's made the winning shot during the last overtime. Everybody held their breath as the ball flew into the basket. What a great way to start the season. They travel to Conroe this week. I hope their luck holds out!
