It doesn't look like much right now, but we've decided to take the plunge (literally!!!). Construction starts on our pool tomorrow morning around 7:30 a.m. Construction should be done in about 4 weeks. We are so excited! I'll be posting more pictures soon.

Monday!
Trevor had a great time at Fishing Camp last week and was very glad to get home Saturday night. We picked him up Saturday morning, hung out in Industry for the day and then went to the Firemen's Feast Saturday night. You just can't beat that great barbecue!
We had a little excitement this afternoon. Trevor was practicing at his 3D targets with a bow and some broadhead arrows. He got an arrow stuck in his target, went around to the front of the target to pull it out, looked d0wn and noticed that he had an arrow stuck in his right leg. He lost quite a bit of blood and needed a few stitches and some staples, but should be just fine. We go back in 10 days to have the staples removed. Just another day at my house! I'm just very glad he is going to be okay.

July 4th Weekend
We had a great 4th of July weekend! We decided to spend part of our weekend at Lake Conroe, so we packed up Thursday afternoon after Kevin got home from work. We stayed in the U.S. Pipeline motor home and borrowed Mr. Jerry's boat so the kids could do a little tubing.
Trevor got to go first. His biggest complaint is that he doesn't fit in the tube anymore.
Then it was Morgan's turn. I think we pulled her around the lake at least two times and she still didn't want to get out. We had a great time until our tube busted. I've got instructions from my kids to find a new tube fast!
Look at this great view that we had before the fireworks started. I think it would be great to see this every night!
We came home Saturday morning because the wind was blowing and the water was really choppy. We also figured there would be LOTS of people on the lake for 4th of July.
Later, the Browns invited us over for barbecue and swimming. Trevor really likes the waterfall from the jacuzzi.

Doctor's Appointment
I took Morgan back to the Medical Center today for a checkup with her surgeon. We got the great news that her elbow looks normal - like it was never broken. The surgeon said that it may take a while for her to get full range or motion back. Possibly as long as 6 months. He said she doesn't need any physical therapy and he released her to go back to all normal physical activity!
